The rear passengers seat will need to be removed along with any accessories brackets or organizer trays from behind the seat. The kit will then bolt into place using factory mounting holes or studs. There will be NO CUTTING OR DRILLING of any sort required.
The rear door window insert fits into the window channel WITHOUT disassembling the door, and is retained by two small stainless steel clips. from the inside. There are NO MODIFICATIONS to your vehicle required. Can I easily return my vehicle to factory specifications?
Yes, because there were no modifications made, all parts can be removed and the factory components reinstalled. You will never be able to tell it was there.
Is the C.C.S. kit a compliant product?
C.C.S. kits are built to comply with the regulations set forth in DOT regulation 393.76.
Is the C.C.S. kit a government certified product?
Although the kits have been viewed by multiple department of transport offices in numerous states and provinces there has only been one office to give written consent for use. All the other offices involved verbally recognize the product as being compliant and will recognize H.O.S. where C.C.S. kits are used. At this time however there is no federal letter of certification.
Do my rear doors still function?
Yes, because no modifications were made to the rear doors they can still be opened and closed as normal.
How long does it take to install or remove the kit?
The C.C.S. kit can be installed in approximately 2 hours by our staff or by anyone with basic mechanical skills using the instructions provided.
Can I order a kit and install it myself?
Yes you can, provided you follow all the instructions as documented.
What type of mattress does the kit use?
The mattress is manufactured by Serta® Mattress specifically for each vehicle and is a medium density foam core with a cloth cover built to motor vehicle requirements.
What accessories do you have available for the C.C.S. kit?
Currently, there are no accessories available for the C.C.S. We will be offering options such as window curtain kit, under bed dividers, under bed roll out organizer tray and passenger side window insert.
